Can Jaycon ship my mold to a different factory?
Short answer: Jaycon can only ship molds that cost $50,000 or more, with shipping costs paid by the customer.
Long answer: Injection molds, especially those with multiple cavities, are extremely heavy — with the average injection mold weighing about 700 pounds. With most of Jaycon's molds being manufactured in China, shipping them to the United States can be very costly and we advice against it. Additionally, keep in mind that Jaycon's molds are made with the metric system standards, and shipping them to the United States may require mold modifications to the imperial system in order for American factories to use it.
